I am crazy about this Before & After over at Design*Sponge today. The makeover was submitted by Joëlle from Umbu Lumière and I think it's fabulous! Something about the finished chair screams preppy to me, which isn't my usual style, but I am absolutely drawn to it. I really love how Joëlle left the two middle pieces on the back of the chair unpainted, while giving the rest a crisp, clean coat of white paint. And that plaid fabric on the seat? Repurposed from an old shirt. How fantastic is that?! This amazing before & after is going to be stuck in my head for quite some time.

From Frumpy to Fabulous!

I stopped in Street Scene today and they had totally re-arranged their jewelry display and it is SO cute! They had your stuff front and center and it looked really nice. Just thought you'd like to know :)

I read on Facebook today that they were rearranging the store, but I haven't seen the changes yet. I can't wait to stop in and see! Thanks for letting me know!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand the feeling of never being able to catch up to things. I feel like I'm always a bit behind staying on top of my stuff in consignment, and then my website is always, always neglected. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for you with sewn products! I sew a teeny bit myself and it will take me hours just to cut out the fabric for a market bag. It seems a relatively simple project is an entire weekend's work for me. And with three young boys? I don't know how you find time to create at all. You are definitely an inspiration!
